Challenge

An intrersting insight came in from Thailand and Indonesia, where people were still using bar soap over facewash for cleansing acne prone skin. The challenge to be adressed was to convince young customers, mostly in their teens of benefits of gel based cleansing over bar soap.


What we do

With short form storytelling on rise and massive content consumption amonst the teenaged consumers, we knew grabbing attention won't be easy. We scripted a short ad film combining the hooksteps of tiktok and the science of fun, correction - cleansing. The concept of 'ditch the soap' was then transcreated for various southeast asian markets.


Results

The output was an ad that popped out on our consumer's feeds and in their hearts, becoming practically unmissable. While the video garnered millions of views and hundreds of comments across social platforms, the ads adaps of the film proved to be the best performing amongst the brand's segment in the region for the financial year!
